Who can join El Centro programs?

El Centro programs are created for Lynn middle school teens who want a safe place to grow, build relationships, and connect with supportive mentors.

How much does it cost?

Every El Centro student program is free. Cost should never prevent a student from receiving support, mentorship, and opportunities to grow.

How does a parent or guardian register a student?

Create or sign in to your family portal, complete the family profile once, add your student, and choose the program you would like to request.

Will I need to enter our information for every program?

No. Your family and student information stays saved in the portal. For future programs, you can select the student and submit a new registration request without starting over.

Is registration confirmed immediately?

No. Each request is reviewed by the El Centro team. The registration status in your family portal will show as pending, approved, or declined.

Why are spots limited?

Programs are intentionally kept small so mentors can know each student, provide personal support, and create meaningful small group experiences.

What attendance is expected?

Students should attend consistently for the full season. Regular attendance helps students build trust, participate in the complete experience, and grow alongside their group.

How will we know about dates when the program does not meet?

Any scheduled off dates are listed with the program details on this page and inside the family portal.

What happens during a typical program day?

Students have time for arrival, homework, lessons, reflection, small groups, creative expression, and connection with mentors. The program day runs from 3:30 to 6:30 PM.

What if my student needs additional support?

Email office@elcentrolynn.org before registering or while your request is being reviewed. The El Centro team will discuss your student’s needs and how the program may be able to support them.
